1. Visit www.lowrance.com.
2. Select the 'Help & Support' tab.
3. Select 'Software Updates'.
4. In the 'Product Series' dropdown menu, select the product you wish to update.
5. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and select the required link under 'Software'. This will take you to a screen with information about the software update.
6. Click on the download link at the bottom of the screen (you may need to scroll).
7. A popup appears. Choose whether or not you wish to register your device at this time.
8. The download process now varies according to your browser. Follow the relevant steps below:
9. Select the downloaded .upd file and copy it to a microSD card (32Gb max, FAT32 format.

After using the above process, you can now update your MFD/plotter by inserting the microSD card containing the update into the unit's card slot and powering it on. The update should run automatically.
